It allows you to check the date and time and running software in the background through the notification area and also allows to launch programs through the start button or view any currently open program. The taskbar has four main sections:

Hide The Windows 10’s Taskbar

You can make the taskbar come and go as you want. Once you hide the taskbar, then it can appear again. The method of hiding the taskbar in Windows 10 is the same for computer and tablets. Follow the below-listed steps to hide the taskbar:

Step 1: In PC, You should right-click on an empty area of the taskbar, You should hold a finger on the taskbar if you are in tablet mode,

Sep 2: Click taskbar settings,

Step 3: Toggle Automatically hides the taskbar in desktop mode to on. (You can also do the same for tablet mode.)

Step 4: Now, The taskbar will be disappear

The taskbar can easily re-appear, You should move the cursor on the appropriate area of the screen to appear the taskbar. On a tablet, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen at any time to make the taskbar re-appear.

  • Open the Control Panel,
  • Select the taskbar,
  • Right-click on the taskbar and open taskbar properties,
  • In the Taskbar Properties window, check the box before ‘Auto-hide the taskbar’ and tap OK on the bottom,
  • Now, The taskbar Will disappear.

You can easily find the taskbar again, You should unselect ‘Auto-hide the taskbar’ and tap OK on the bottom, and you can place the taskbar where you want.
